(where Sakura made an appearance)

Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha (1997)

Street Fighter EX was the first real-time 3D Street Fighter game. It was an arcade game created by Arika and published by Capcom. The first game received two upgrades; The first one was called ''Street Fighter EX Plus'', and the Sony Playstation console received the second update called ''Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha.'' ''Street Fighter EX+@'' for short.

New in this version are added characters like Dhalsim, Zangief and... Sakura! The first time we see her in 3D. Unfortunately I thought she wasn't that great performance-wise, and she also looked a bit, wel uhmm... shy. I haven't played this game too many times like I play the other Street Fighter games, but I think it's a good game, the music is excellent and enhances the overal feel. As one of the early 3D fighting games, the models looked a bit ''blocky'' though, because of the low polygon models. I also found the highest difficulty level to be quite challenging (read: "entertaining") in this game.

Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter (1997)

That's a mouth full! Sakura enters the world of the Capcom Vs. tag team fighting games! She has quite a different fighting style this time around; The Shou-ouken can now be used to dash through projectiles, she can only throw diagonal fireballs (diagonally-up while standing, and diagonally-down while in the air) and her super moves are quite different compared to the Alpha series, all with a high combo hit count, which is quite a show to see..

However overall it seems she's not really a good character here, performance-wise, but I might be wrong, as she seems to rely heavily on close range combat, while most other characters have some quite nasty mid-to-long range attacks.

Also, there's an alternative version of Sakura as a secret character called "Dark" or "Sun Burned Sakura". This version gains the long range attack "Shinku Hadou-ken" as well a teleport move and her version of Akuma's "Shun Goku Satsu"!

Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold (1997)

This game had been released in 1997 for the Sony Playstation and Sega Saturn video game consoles as part of the two games package called "Street Fighter Collection" under the name of : "Street Fighter Zero 2 Dash" in Japan and ''Street Fighter Alpha 2 Dash'' in the USA and Europe. (Note the ' character is being read as ''Dash''.) The other game included was Street Fighter II Turbo. (Super Street Fighter II X in Japan.)

This game is essential a minor upgrade to Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha with some console like exclusive additional features like "Survival" and "Akuma" modes, and the addition of Cammy (as seen earlier as one of the four "New Challengers" in Super Street Fighter II (Turbo)) to the character roster.

Appearently because of the small number of changes the game was never been released in the arcades.
