Building Morris Minor Models - Revell.
The model either collapsed as a result of using the wrong glue.

or, the parts did not fit because of sprue leftovers on the parts
The sorry end result is caused by not planning the building upfront.

Picking a color scheme and painting the different parts upfront could have given this model a very nice look (See the Revell pages)
Although the casting of the Revell kits is good, something went awfully wrong with this kit.

I found the pictures on ebay and thought "Oh, what a shame" since these kits are extremely rare nowadays.

The builder of this kit made a number of basic mistakes:

1. He probably did not clean up the parts (little sprue leftovers etc.) which makes construction difficult.
2. He did not decide on a color scheme before putting the model together.
3. He should have painted the parts before glueing them together.
4. He should have taken either more time before putting the parts together or used the wrong kind of glue.
