Released in October 2006 this is, without a doubt, the best model of a Morris Minor I ever set eyes on.
This 1:12 scale has opening doors, boot, bonnet and winddown windows. The engine bay is really unbelievable. In the boot there is a spare wheel and a complete tool kit.
It is extremely accurately detailed inside and out. Have you ever seen folddown chairs in a model ? Here they are ! Even the chassis is 100%.
This model is not cheap, but around 70 GBP is absolutely not to much.
In the picture on the left you see the pre production model as presented in 2005 on a german toy fair.
There are a lot of differences as you can see. Look at the wheels, interior, chromework, numberplate, bumper, mirrors etc.
A lot has been done after the toy fair to make this the beautifull model it is.
In july 2007 Sunstar launched the second Morris Minor in their product line.
A white Convertible this time. The quality is as high as described for the saloon car.
So is the price. A georgeous model and a must for every Morris Minor collection.

There are some differences as you can see. A different colour, the black softtop and the black bumpers are obvious.
