Horses

From tomb excavations predating the Han Dynasty, it is clear that the Chinese had developed elaborate carriages, vast armies, sophisticated weapons and, most importantly, adopted the art of horsemanship. Of all the animals both real and fantastic that appear in mingqi, the horse is the most significant in the study of transportation, sport and warfare in ancient China.
