Introduction
In 1977, the building of this 0-6-0 live steam tank engine started, based on drawings of the "Simplex".
Although there were castings available,  it was decided to make as many parts as possible by hand (from raw metal). The result is a very professional-looking model.
The precision of the intricate mechanical parts of the model is matched by the paint work.
The livery of the locomotive is executed to a high standard of finish.
In 1987, after approximately 7000 ours of work, the model was completed and the results, as can be seen, speak for themselves. No detail was forgotten (see photograph). Finally, we should mention that this is the only example (in this finish) in the world of this impressive, hand-crafted locomotive
