TWINNING DIGITAL CAMERA'S
Ekeren 3D Equipment has extensive experience of twinning digital cameras. Twinned cameras have synchronized shutters, zoom and power on/off; the necessities for perfect stereo shooting. The camera’s are coupled physically by a custom made aluminum rig. Where possible there will be a variable lens base, for optimal stereo photography under every condition.
Co van Ekeren makes many of these custom digital stereo sets for customers worldwide. Since 2003 he has completed over 500 stereo setups, based on several types of digital cameras.
The types of digital camera used can change from time to time, because van Ekeren mostly works with new cameras. If a camera type is no longer available, the twinning moves on to another (newer) type of camera. It is also possible to have a flash mounted and synchronized with some twin setups.
