** Interesse gebied:

Johann Georg Juch werd geboren in Exdorf, Saxen Gotha, Duitsland, op 5 November 1679. Hij was daar landbouwer en tevens gemeenteraadslid en overleed op 7 december 1735. De centrale bijbeltekst in de begrafenisdienst in de Evangelisch-Lutherse kerk was Job 19:25-27:

"want ik weet: de levende God zal het voor mij opnemen en mij tenslotte in mijn recht herstellen, hier, op deze wereld. Ook al is mijn lichaam geschonden, toch zal ik God met eigen ogen zien. Ikzelf en niemand anders zal Hem zien, in eigen persoon zal ik Hem ontmoeten, mijn lichaam trilt van verlangen."

Eén van zijn achterkleinzonen was: Johann Wolfgang Juch, geboren in Gotha-Siebleben op 13 oktober 1783. Deze Johann emigreerde in 1813 naar Nederland, vestigde zich in Enkhuizen. Hij stierf op 4 juni 1859 in het Provinciaal Ziekenhuis "Meer en Berg" in Bloemendaal.

deze Johann Wolfgang is mijn overgrootvader.

Johann Georg Juch was born in Exdorf, Saxen Gotha, Germany, November 5, 1679. He lived there as a farmer and was a member of the city coucil. He died on July 7, 1735. The leading text during the funeral ceremony in the Evangelical-Lutheran church was Job 19:25-27:

"But I am certain that he who will take up my cause is living, and that in time to come he will take his place on the dust; And…without my flesh I will see God; Whom I will see on my side, and not as one strange to me. My heart is broken with desire."

One of his great-grandsons, Johann Wolfgang Juch, born in Gotha-Siebleben on October 13, 1783 moved to The Netherlands in 1813, settled down in Enkhuizen and married Elisabeth Jacobs Aardema born in Enkhuizen on July 27,1795. He died on June 4, 1859 in the Country Hospital " Meer en Berg" at Bloemendaal. This Johann Wolfgang is my great-grandfather.
