| Description | Shell up to ca. 50 mm high, translucent, creamy, fragile, flattened, circular, inequivalve, inequilateral, auricles equal and smooth. Left valve slightly more inflated than right valve, with some commarginal growth lines, and 1-3 delicate radial lirae near posterior margin. Right valve with widely spaced commarginal lirae. Internal ribs 8-10. Byssal notch and ctenolium lacking. |
