  Holotype (lv: H 8.8 mm, L 9.0 mm) Zoological Museum, University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam (ZMA Moll. 3.89.006). Type locality: Indonesia, Makassar Strait, 01*17.5'N, 118*53.0'E, 281 m, dead, coral sand and stones, 21.06.1899 ("Siboga" stn 90).

Description

  Shell up to ca. 9 mm high, fragile, semi-transparent, weakly inflated, subcircular, inequivalve, nearly equilateral, anterior auricles somewhat larger than posterior, unequal in shape, internal ribs 11, umbonal angle ca. 95 degrees, colour milky-white.

  Left valve with irregularly spaced numerous radial ribs and delicate overrunning commarginal lamellae. Sculpture of commarginal lirae on anterior auricle is more prominent than on posterior. Posterior auricle also with delicate radial riblets.
