| Description | Shell up to ca. 16 mm high, semi-transparent to opaque, weakly inflated, circular, left valve slightly more convex than right valve, nearly equivalve and equilateral, auricles smooth and nearly equal in size, colour whitish. Left valve with irregularly spaced, delicate radial lirae throughout. Right valve with regularly spaced commarginal lirae. Internal ribs 9 and an auricular riblet on each side, sometimes a rudimentary intercostal riblet near margin. Byssal notch and ctenolium lacking. |
