The Headoffice of the Foundation
Welcome Again Veterans
is located in Holten - The Netherlands.
The Foundation was established in 1989 out of the local Pelgrimage Committee, who was active from the early 50's until the 70's to host every year family-members of the fallen soldiers, who are buried on the Canadian War Cemetery at Holten.
The Foundation is a Knowledge and Information Centre since 1989.

From 1990 Welcome Again Veterans organizes trips, assists in trips and supports Canadian WWII Veterans and their Regiments who want to visit The Netherlands. A Commemorative Service on the Canadian War Cemetery at Holten is a central part of the program. Hosting the Veterans an local programs are done by the support of more than 40 Local Committes of Welcome Again Veterans ,all in the eastern part of The Netherlands.
The Commissioner of the Queen in Overijssel is the Patron of the Foundation.

Welcome Again Veterans
is involved and takes care of the costs of the yearly Commemorative Service for and by schoolchildren on May 4th and the Candle-event on Christmas-Eve, when schoolchildren put burning candles on the graves of the fallen Canadian soldiers.
