AquaCrops is specialised in design, construction and management of culture systems for freshwater food fish, such as tilapia, african catfish, eels, carps, etc. This includes grow-out as well as hatchery and nursery operations in ponds, raceways and recirculating aquaculture systems. Prefeasibility study.
A prefeasibility study is carried out to determine the scope of success for a potential project. For it we will have to meet with you. During the study we test the suitability of the natural resources (land, water, climate, etc) of the proposed project sites, and verify the availability of construction materials and production inputs.
Feasibility study.
If the results of the prefeasibility study are favorable then it is time for a full blown feasibility study. In this study we develop an appropriate culture system for you and forecast its production. Based on these we estimate the farm construction cost and operational cost.

Farm design.With your 'go a head' the actual design of the farm can take off. Based on additional topographical data we engineer for you the production systems (ponds, tanks, raceways etc) and select suppliers and contractors as well as the necessay equipment and tools. At this stage we also identify the final project cost and compile for you a business plan.
Farm construction.
With all the paper work well done and the necessary capital available the farm can be constructed. Aquacrops can serve you in this process by supervising the construction process. Further we can assist you with the selection of the staff and the start up of your farm.
Technology transfer.
To safeguard the smooth operation of your facilities we can compile technical protecols and train the staff. Further we can provide you technical support during the first production cycles of your farm.
