Main characteristics. - Head elongate and depressed; ocelli distinctly present; mesothorax totally granulate; elytra and wings long; fore femora sharply carinate; anal segment in both sexes, but especially in males, profoundly emarginate; in females operculum narrow, corneous, emarginate, and extended beyond abdomen. Distribution. - Indo-China, Sumatra, Borneo, New Guinea, the Aru Islands, New Britain, and Australia. Represented in New Guinea by:
