Main characteristics. - Head elongate and depressed; elytra explicit, wings in females short and not extended beyond the third abdominal segment (in New Guinea species even shorter than metanotum), in males long; operculum in females navicular, sharply carinate and hind margin acuminate; four hind femora ventrally with 1-2 subapical teeth. Distribution. - Indo-China, Sumatra, Java, the Philippines and New Guinea. Represented in New Guinea by:
