After filling out and submitting your subscription, you will be required to complete

the double opt-in process:

An email will be sent to you in which you'll have to click a link to confirm that you want to join. Until you have confirmed your subscription, you will not be added to the list but will remain a 'pending subscriber'. Pending subscriptions that have been unconfirmed for more than 7 days will be removed automatically from the list.
