Vaction with the BX Sport
Some vacation pictures of my BX Sport, with comments below each picture.

Oh yes, never a problem when you're at home but once you cross that border... this is day 1 of my holiday. The Sport had visited Luxembourg city and wasn't to fond of the scuff I made to it's bumper (stupid me). So after racing some lovely mountains it decided to light up the watertemperature light. It was only blinking so I parked it in a field and opened the hood to let it cool down for half an hour...

After it had cooled down, we drove further...but within a kilometer the christmas tree lit up again (STOP + ENGINE OVERHEATED !!!). I shut down the engine emediatly and parked it in a field. Opened the booth and coolant was pooring out of the filler opening in the radiator, it was steaming. I feared for the cylinderheadgasket because I thought I saw oil on the floor below the car and on the coolant dipstick. Fortunatly I was wrong, when a Citroen dealer picked it up the next day it turned out the thermostat was broken and had closed completely. So a new thermostat and 8 (!) liters of coolant and we were on our way again !!!

One happy owner next to his BX Sport (this was the only sunny day for two weeks :( )

Luxembourg was made for BX's, just look at this road, a pitty you can't see my smile in the mirror. The Sport managed a 140 km/h on these roads as a top speed.

A beautifull landmark "the Perekop" near Echternach, had to lower the BX to go underneeth :)

Two happy faces eventually, though the Sport shouldn't have waited to break down in Luxembourg, so next time I think I'll take the Alfa...
