Welcome to Fred Kramer's homepage with geographic slide shows about several European countries. During my Physical Geography-study at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam (The Netherlands), I've participated in excursions and fieldworks. Such trips are an important aspect of this study because, being an earth scientist, you need to see the processes that are going on at the earth's surface for yourself. So, through the years we visit several well known and less known places, which are always very interesting.
The slideshows (provided with some geological and physical geographical explanations) on this website, give an impression of these excursions and fieldworks. I also give some tourist information and travel tips.
