Two weeks later we went to the "Spreewald", between Dresden and Berlin. Here the Spree-river flows through a forest.

The best way to visit the area is by renting a canoe or a kayak, so that's what we did. There are numerous creeks and canals to sail on and several locks to take. Fun guaranteed! Unfortunately, a heavy thunderstorm and stinging horse-flies nearly ruined our day.
