A huge cloud above the power plant near the village of Boxberg, seen from the Reichwalde mine. The emission of warm, moist air from the power plant vapourizes at higher altitudes, forming this cloud.

As mentioned before, the power plant uses brown coal that is directly transported from the Reichwalde and Nochten mines by a 20 kilometers long conveyor-belt.
