Fieldwork Germany

06-13-1999 to 07-23-1999

In the summer of 1999, six students (including me) participated in a fieldwork that took place in the open cast brown coal mine "Reichwalde", about 70 kilometers northeast of Dresden, in former East-Germany. During our work in the mine, we tried to obtain data about the sediments that were deposited by rivers during the last ice-age. On Sunday, we spent our leisure time visiting nearby cities.
