Excursion southern England

11-06-1998 to 11-09-1998

Early November 1998, an excursion to southern England was planned by our students association GeoVUsie. The world famous Dr. Jan Smit (he is one of the founders of the theory that assumes the extinction of the dinosaurs was caused by a meteorite impact) and Dr. René Isarin accompanied 43 students on this 4-days trip. Five minivans drove us to the cities of Exeter and Salisbury, to prehistoric monuments, high cliffs, quarries and... a beer brewery.
