The final slide of this show. It shows the "Molasse Basin", seen from the top of one of the highest mountains of the French Jura-region near the "Col de la Faucile". We are standing at altitude of approximately 1650 meters above sea-level and are looking down into the "Molasse Basin", in which the "Lac Léman" (better known as "Lake Genieva") is situated.

The "Molasse Basin" lies at an altitude of 375 meters above sea-level and is a buffer-zone between the mountain-ranges of the Jura and the Alps.
