Connemara National Park, located south of the village of Letterfrack, truly is worth a visit. The park opened in 1980 and measures some 2000 acres. In the national park you will find peaty bogs, moorlands, abandoned farms, archeological sites, rock faces and 600 meters high mountain tops. A must for everyone who likes unspoilt nature.
