It is rumoured that this is the most photographed object in Ireland: the Poulnabrone Dolmen. I don't think it is really true, but the burial tomb indeed is impressive. The portal tomb is about two meters high and dates from the Early Bronze Age. Inside, human remains of several adults and children are found.

You will find this Poulnabrone Dolmen in the karst landscape called The Burren. In this region, fortresses of Neolithic and Bronze Age are scattered around. Inside these fortresses many artefacts of Ireland's early settlers are found.
