The hot spring "Deildartunguhver". It is the world's largest hot spring. Every second, 200 liters of water with a temperature of over 100 degrees Celsius, wells up!! From this place, long pipelines transport the water to consumers in nearby cities like "Akranes" and "Borgarnes".

After this stop we had a long drive towards the largest city in northern Iceland, "Akureyri". We spent the night in a very fine hotel in a fjord, a few kilometers north of "Akureyri".
