At our first night in Iceland we stayed in the guesthouse of the Icelandic Salvation Army, near the city-center of Iceland's capital "Reykjavík". Fine rooms and good food! It is the cheapest hotel in "Reykjavík". Ideal for low-budget travellers because Iceland is a very expensive country! For instance, a beverage or a hamburger cost more than twice as much as in The Netherlands.
