The tiny village of Esch-sur-Sūre, that was built on the inner side of a tight meander of the Sūre-river. Unfortunately, this wonderful meander isn't visible in this picture. Instead, in the foreground you see the ruins of the 1000 years old castle. Esch-sur-Sūre is well known because of a large dam that was built 1 kilometer west of the village.
