This mountain is called Colorados de los Hermanillos. In this mountain, the rock-strata lie more or less horizontal. Layers consisting of hard rock, that are situated on top and in the middle of the mountain, created vertical rock faces. The softer types of rock created low-angled slopes, just like they did at the Sierra del Buey.
