Circle (A₃₅): Schoch-FLower circle

Definition

Let S₁ be the point where the Schoch-line meets AB. The circle tangent externally to the circles through S₁ with centers A and B and to (O') is the Archimedean circle (A₃₅).[FvL, 28 Dec 2006]. Thomas Schoch has suggested to name it "van Lamoen circle".

Properties:

• The circle through S₂ (the point where the Schoch line meets (O)) with center O' is tangent to (A₃₅) as well, cf. the first Schoch line circle. [FvL, 28 Dec 2006]
• The common tangents of (A₃₅) and the circles through S₁ with centers A and B, meet on the Schoch line in a point equidistant to both tangency points and S₁. [FvL, 28 Dec 2006]
