Circles (A53a) and (A53b): Neighbourcouple of the second QTB Powerian pair

Definition

Let O'1 and O'2 be the reflections of O1 and O2 through A and B respectively. Let J be the point where the circle on diameter AO'2 meets CD, and also the circle on diameter BO'1 meets CD. The circles tangent to each other at J and both tangent to (O) are the Archimedean circles (A53a) and (A53b), another Powerian pair. [FvL, 17 Mar 2008]
