My current restoration project is a BSA R5 Empire Star of 1936. This model was the topmodel of the range and was presented in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the crowning of HRH King George V. The 500 cc model was named Q8 and the 350 cc model R5. Here is a magnificent colour picture taken from the 1936 catalogue.
If some people happen to have some parts lying around please send me an
E-mail message.

Recently I bought a new and special restoration project. A very rare BSA of 1936: the R19 Competition. After some research it turned out that about 100 of these bikes were ever produced. The R19 is based on the so called high camshaft models R4 and B3, which were produced for only two years (1935 and 1936). Since a lot of parts are missing it will be a very long and painstaking process to restore this bike to its former glory.
This is a picture of the bike as I bought it.

My most recent project is a model H2 from 1922. This is also a longterm project. There quite a few parts missing like the original BSA carburettor, the handlebars complete with levers and grips, the footboards, the gear shift rod, rear brake pedal and brake rod, vlave covers and some other odd bits and pieces. So if anyone can help me with these parts please mail me.
