During a detailed inspection a few months later, we found a broken inlet-valve pusher. This probably resulted the loud bang from the engine compartment and the reason that the engine began to run roughly. The reason why the engine spun up after we pull down the power to idle is unknown yet. If you can help us with that, don't hesitate to contact me.
