Our Hays branch ancestor was Jennie Hays, daughter of Thomas Hays and Keziah Jane Foster. Jennie was born in 1867 and married Victor F. Thomas in 1890.

Thomas Hays was, among other pursuits, a State Senator for Pennsylvania in the early 1900's. His father, Robert Hays was married to Deborah Jane McKee, member of another interesting branch of the family.
