SuitPlay and Windows Vista or Mac OS

Windows Vista

Two problems have been reported by Windows Vista users:

- SuitPlay does not run at all. Vista gives a message that you need a 32-bit of 64-bit version;

- Your azerty keyboard becomes qwerty.

These are not SuitPlay problems. Windows Vista does not correctly support MS-DOS programs.
See below for a solution.

Mac OS

SuitPlay is not written for Mac OS. However, you can run SuitPlay on your Mac with DosBox

DosBox

There is a program called DosBox. There are versions for Windows Vista and for Mac OS.
You can download this program at www.dosbox.com. Within this program, you can call and run SuitPlay.

Two advises:

- By default, programs are intentionally slowed by DosBox to make older games work. Control-F12 speeds up the simulation;

- Once DosBox is installed, you can run SuitPlay directly by means of a command-line

"C:/Program Files/DOSBox-0.72/dosbox.exe" "c:\bridge\suitplay.exe"

You may have to change these file locations.
