10 october 1999
The autumn event of 1999 gathered over 40 DeLorean enthousiasts, with in total
12 DeLoreans. A few owners were unfortunately to join the trip, but took the effort
to drive to Vianen the smell the DeLorean 'audeur'.
After the cup of coffee and the photo session and ofcourse the talks between owners
and enthusiasts, it was time to take our d's for a ride. This time we had beautifull
sports along the Nederrijn.

Also this time we took a pont. Here are 6 DeLoreans in line to cross the Nederrijn to
Amerongen. |
 |
 |
Also this time DCN tried to bring also something for the partner into the program.
We visited the castle Amerongen and attend an interesting tour. |
|
Unfortunately we were not allowed to take pictures in front of the castle, so we did the
line-up on the parkingplace...... |

Blaricum 120
During the final event of the Millennium celebration in Blaricum the DCN gave act the presence
between the in total 130 cars build this century. From every year during the last century at
least one piece.
You can click on the picture of the newspaper article to read more about the event (if you
can read dutch) They misspelled the name 'Delorian', it is still a legend.
On the left site there is a picture of the sign placed on the cars during the special tour
around the town. A well organised event.

First meeting of the DeLorean Club Netherlands
 |
Broekerveiling, Broek op Langedijk (near Alkmaar)
The first DeLorean meeting from the DCN was a great SUCCESS. 12 DeLorean's
attend at the event during the rainy day.
We were able to take some nice pictures just in between of the showers during that day. |
A beautiful picture: The DeLorean's on a row at the parkingplace.
Ofcourse all with opened doors. |
 |
 |
The meeting was informal, where there was sufficient time to talk and to exchange
information about our mutual hobby. After a short while addresses were exchanged.
After lunch it was time for the trip: we drove through the characteristic
Alkmaar, followed by the crossing per veerpont over the 'Noordhollands Kanaal'. Ofcourse
we have some pictures of this, but will be published later, at the dutch section. |
|
After the trip we were able to review the day and to look at the gathered material.
We have a map full of old newspaper articles, tons of DeLorean World magazines, and
ofcourse the DCN promotion products. |
