From the reviews
"The Man With The Surfodot" (4* out of 5) is a fun track with delicate muted guitar playfully dribbling out a dry melody line that's very compelling.
This song is delicate, yet compelling. The pulsing bass line and drums are well suited for the melody, and the modern keys also seem to
compliment the piece, adding a mysterious Mediterranean sense.

Stocked with guitar-based instrumentals, HJ’s self-titled debut is energetic and flamboyant.
Jumping from surf rock to bossa nova ain’t easy but HJ manages. Definitely a rare treat,
HJ performs with high self-esteem and a knowledge of the vast space that music can occupy.
J-Sin, Smother Magazine - www.smother.net

Ewie, File Under - www.fileunder.nl (in Dutch)

Jittery little instrumentals with surf leads... No vocals= fun !
Dagger Zine
Nice songs and a pleasant voice. His instrumentals are the best. An excellent soundtrack for a 60's Eastern Block porn movie.
