In the artcenter in Ceský Krumlov is a permanent exhibition of Egon Schiele graphics and a documentary exhibition about his life. Biography Leninimports In 1907, he met Gustav Klimt, who encouraged him and influenced his work. Schiele left the Akademie in 1909 and founded the Neukunstgruppe with other dissatisfied students. Upon Klimt's invitation, Schiele exhibited at the 1909 Vienna Kunstschau, where he encountered the work of Edvard Munch, Jan Toroop, Vincent van Gogh and others. See: Portrait of Johann Harms. Ceský Krumlov is bekend door de schilder Egon Schiele. In het kunstcentrum in Ceský Krumlov is voortdurend grafiek van Egon Schiele en een biografische tentoonstelling te zien. TRAUMATISCH Schiele (1890-1918) werd aanvankelijk sterk beïnvloed door het werk van Gustav Klimt. De Oostenrijkse schilder en illustrator Gustav Klimt was de grondlegger van de kunststroming ‘de Weense Sezession’. Deze stroming is verwant aan de L’art nouveau en de Jugendstil. Anders dan deze stijl had Schiele’s werk een meer expressionistisch karakter. Dit expressionisme werd gevoed door traumatische jeugdervaringen, zijn levensstijl en zijn incestueuze relatie met onder andere zijn zus Gerti. De kunst gebruikte hij om zijn eigen gevoelens te uitten. Zijn modellen waren vaak delinquenten en uitgestotenen, die hij als een kolonie om zich verzamelde. Vooral bij de jongere generatie, in die tijd, groeide zijn reputatie als kunstenaar. Schiele werd zelfs beschouwd als waardig opvolger van Gustav Klimt. Maar voordat Schiele dit kon waarmaken maakte de Spaanse Griep een vroegtijdig einde aan zijn achtentwintig jarig bestaan. Amsterdam Van Gogh Museum, 25 maart 2005 - 19 juni 2005.
