
This in very low quantities (somewhere between 50 and 300 pieces,)
by Richard Ginori, produced cup might be considered the first illy collection prototype.
With this design, on the white Matteo Thun cup, illy tried to find out if decorating there cups
would be a good idea. I guess it was and you might say that this cup leaded illy
into the world of the illy collection cups.
The cup was never for sale and you will not find it mentioned by illy somewhere.
Beside that, nobody knows how many cups survived. So if you can find one, buy it! |
