This limited edition espresso cup was designed with a drawing of Federico Fellini (born 1920 in Rimini, died 1993 in Rome).
It was released in December 1993 for the, sponsored by illy, "Tutto Fellini Festival" in New York. Beside NY, the festival was also held in 1994 in Amsterdam, Tokyo, Sydney, Moscow and Paris. In 1995 it was held in Los Angeles, Washington, San Francisco and Toronto.
Because it was released for this occasion, the inscription on the inside of the cup says: "illycaffé for TUTTO FELLINI New York 1993"
But look at the cup aside...here the inscription says: "illy collection"!
Is there another
cup? I don't know, but I found the picture on the illy website it self (year 1993).
