The regular illy collection Videogrammi set is listed on the illy site in 1996, but there was already a set in 1995. In that year they released the “illy collection for Harting” set.
The set can not be found on the illy site, so it’s hard to get information about it. Amici made some “advertising cups” for Swiss companies like Permamed, DemoSCOPE, wirELTERN and SBvaccines in the middle of the nineties. These cups were given away as a relation or Christmas gifts to customers.
Harting is a Swiss too and in the early nineties Matteo Thun did some design for this electronic company. So maybe that’s the link. Please let me know if I’m right or if you have more information about this very special illy advertising set.
