Silver Cup is the product of the genius of David Byrne (born 1952, in Dumbarton, Scotland), ex-leader of the Talking Heads.
The artist gets his inspiration from photography, for a cup that wishes to reflect reality around us. It was presented in Trieste in 1998, on the occasion of his personal art exhibit at the Museo Revoltella.
Mitterteich made only 1000 pieces of this limited edition espresso cup which came
together with a brochure in a very beautiful silver color box. It's not only very popular
within the group of illy and amici collectors, but also with fans of this great rock musician .
