The work of six contemporary Brazilian artists comprise the exceptional Collector's Edition Artistas do Brasil cup collection marking the 10th anniversary of the illy caffè Quality Award for Brazilian Coffee Growers.
The six artists invited to create these commemorative cups were chosen for their notably distinct aesthetic styles and the prominent role they play in Brazilian art. Hailing from different regions of Brazil, the artists, all featured in major exhibitions in Brazil and abroad.
There is a regular illy collection 2001 set of these cups, but there is also a set that came in an attractive keepsake aluminum tin. These cups are signed by the artists and numbered too, but they have the inscription:
A very limited quantity of these 2,000 Collector's Edition sets were produced worldwide.
