The In Principio illy collection cup marks the beginning of the collaboration between the Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado and illy.
In occasion of his exhibition in Rome (may 16th - july 31st, 2003),
the decorated cup and saucer can be bought in a special package together with a booklet and a can of coffee.
I'm not sure if it's a special edition, but there are =/- 6600 pieces of this cup made and
another three (India, Guatemala and Ethiopia)will follow in the next years.
