It's dark outside and raining constantly. You've just been told of the evil that is threatening the world. The strange dark Keep behind you holds a terrible secret. A strange monster from the Void is trying to repair a strange machine (called the Zo Link) that will allow him to enter the world and destroy it. Somehow this machine will create a passage between the world as you know it and the Void. You've just heard that you're the only one that can stop this monster. Your task is to enter the Keep, restore the Zo Link and enter the Void, to destroy the monster, before it will destroy the world.

You're Torham Zed.
When the game starts you're in a cave/ dungeon, surrounded by chambers with sleeping persons in it.
From them you must pick your companions and form a party of four.
You can chose between fighters, ninja's, wizards and priests. Most characters are a combination of at least two of these.
You can look at each chamber and check the abilities of that person before you chose your party.
When you're done you're ready to enter the world.
The first part of the game you spent outside trying to find four parts of the key that will allow you to enter the Keep.
The second part of the game you're inside the Keep, fighting monsters, solving puzzles, etc.
Your goal is to restore a strange machine that allows you to enter the Void.
Dungeon Master 2 is the sequel to Dungeon Master.
Although I never played Dungeon Master, I liked Dungeon Master 2.
The gameplay is nice and the game has a first person perspective.
You can gain money by fighting enemies. This allows you to buy food, weapons and armoury.
There are many puzzles to solve.
