Games Over A Dutch site, but with English text mostly and English walkthroughs. Has many RPG walkthroughs and hintfiles.

RPGamer A RPG site with many walkthroughs, screenshots, news and info. Lot of attention for "console RPGs".

GameFAQs This site has a huge collection of walkthroughs, FAQs, game guides and cheats. They cover all systems, from computer, to console systems.

Gamer Grand Central Here you'll find walkthroughs, maps, hints, cheats etc for many RPGs.

The Phantasy Star Pages This is a great site about all the Phantasy Star games for the Sega system. Here you can find info, help, screenshots etc.

ComputerRolePlayingGames-Archives A German RPG site, with English text.

Wizardry Fan Page by Snafaru A good Wizardry site with walkthroughs, maps and info about all Wizardry games.

RPGFan A lot of reviews and previews with a lot of attention for playstation and nintendo rpgs.

The Arris Dome Everything you ever wanted to know about: Chrono Trigger.

Tan's Squaresoft World A great site with walkthroughs etc, for all Squaresoft games.

Eye Of The Beholder Help Web A website with maps, walkthroughs, hintfiles, character editors, saved games etc for all three Eye of the Beholder games.

John's RPG Page This is a good starting point for anyone who is interested in traditional RPG's (you know: pen, paper and a dice). Has many links to "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons" sites.

The Bard's Tale Archives A website with hints, items and maps etc for all three Bard's Tale games.

Hints Daggerfall Page A good site about Daggerfall. With a ton of info, hints, walkthrough etc.

Tolkien Computer Games This is a very large site with info about all computer games based upon the books of Tolkien. Also: a very long list of shareware "Tolkien" CRPG's, with links to where you can download them.

Square Extreme Network A website dedicated to Squaresoft's RPGs (Mostly Final Fantasy related). They have news about upcoming games, forums (where you can ask help if you're stuck in a game), and they also have a lot of artwork and other files for download.

RPG Dreamers This is a very good looking site for all Playstation RPGs. They have reviews, screenshots, info etc.

Fantasygamer.net A website about the Final Fantasy games. They have walkthroughs, maps, info, itemlists etc for some of the latest Final Fantasy games.

4:Some Companies/ Official Games Sites:

Ultima Web Archive This is Origin's Ultima Web Archive. A lot of info about all Ultima games: walkthroughs, helpfiles, downloads and hints.

Interplay Interplay has a great website with help, info, walkthroughs, etc. for many, many games.

Black Isle Interplay's division that publishes The Baldur's Gate series and Neverwinter Nights.

Bioware The people that picked it up where Origin dropped it.:P
Here the whole series of Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Night etc are created. They have a great site with a lot of RPG news items.

Sirtech Makers of the "Wizardry series".

Wizardry 8 The official Wizardry 8 site.

Bethesda They created "The Elder Scrolls" (Arena and Daggerfall). They have demos and patches at their website.

Morrowind The official Morrowind, The Elder Scrolls III, website.

Larian Studios Larian Studios is about to release "Divine Divinity". This is a new "top-down" RPG that looks great. Expected date of release: first quarter of 2002.

Pool Of Radiance II The official Pool Of Radiance, Ruins of Myth Drannor website.

Gorasul A New RPG, just published this month: Gorasul, The Legacy of the Dragon.

The Bard's Legacy A game in development that is often talked about as based upon the Bard's Tale games. The beta has started.

Summoner A new "third person view" RPG for Playstation 2 and PC.

The I of the Dragon A "third person view" RPG in development, in which you play a Dragon.

Siege of Avalon A very nice RPG. You can download the first chapter for free and if you like the game, you can buy the next 6 chapters.

Arx Fatalis Another new upcoming RPG.

5:Shareware and Freeware RPG's:

SW Games Home Page Here you can download a game, called: Yendorian Tales (already three parts available). They also have a lot of links.

G Realm This is a site about the development of games like "Final Fantasy" for the computer. The games that are ready can be downloaded here.

Miura Warrior Home Page This you have to see: this is the homepage from someone who is creating a game like Final Fantasy for the computer. He is doing everything by himself and it looks great. This game is ready and it is freeware!!

The Official Dungeon Bane Web Page This is the homepage of DBQuest. DBQuest is a CRPG in the style of the early Ultima games. Part 1 can be downloaded here.

Spiderweb Software Homepage This is the homepage of the creator of : Exile I, II, and III, The Avernum series and more Adventure and RPG games. Here you can download the shareware versions of these games and find info.

Ultima: The Dark Core This is a "Myst" like Ultima game, created by Michael Hilborn, a.k.a. A New Breed of Dragon. You can play it online or from your harddisk. This game is a MUST for real Ultima fans.

Pillars of Garendall A new RPG created with "The Coldstone engine". You can download this game and if you like it, register it.

Ultizurk Games A great site about all the Ultizurk games (created by Robert Deutsch, a.k.a. Dr. Dungeon). Here you can get info, hintfiles and download the games.

New Centurions A Shareware sci-fi RPG.

Tom Proudfoot's Games This is the homepage of Nahlakh and Nahlakh II. These games can be downloaded here.

RuneSword This is the homepage of RuneSword (formerly: Bronze Dragon). Here you can find a lot of info and screenshots and also download a demo.

Homeland A new Shareware CRPG created by DragonLore and distributed by Spiderweb (see above).

Moria This is the homepage of the official maintainer of Moria. This is a Tolkien based CRPG with a very long tradition. Here you can find info and download the game.

Neophyte If you enjoy "console" RPGs like Final Fantasy, the Neophyte games are not only free but also one of the best attempts to create such games for the PC. Unfortunately Alien Software which created these games went out of business, but the Shareware part of the Neophyte games are still available for download at the above site.

NetHack One of the oldest Dungeon hack and slash games out there. This game has no graphics but uses ASCII text characters to show all the game objects.

NetHack- Falcon's Eye This is Nethack with graphics, music etc. Very cool free game.

The Official Dink SmallWood Website This is a shareware top-down RPG called "Dink SmallWood".

Zelda Classic Here you can find a remake for the computer of the original NES Zelda game:"The Legend of Zelda". There is also a program "ZQuest" at this site, that allows you to create Quests for Zelda Classic.

6:Online RPGs:

Ultima Online This is Origin's official Ultima Online site.

Everquest Good site with a lot of info for when you start playing Everquest.

Asheron's Call Microsoft's Online RPG.

Neverwinter Nights This is going to be a Baldur's Gate like game, made for multiplayer purposes. Follows the original D&D rules and will be great for playing it with groups on the Internet.

Lineage An Online RPG that seems particularly popular in Asia.

Shadowbane An Online RPG that is PvP oriented. The second beta has yet to start.

Dark Age Of Camelot This Online RPG takes place in Europe's mythological past. The game has realm-based Player vs. Player combat.

Anarchy Online A science fiction Online RPG, that takes place 30.000 years in the future.

GemStone III A very popular text-based Online RPG.

Star Wars Galaxies An Online RPG set in the world of "Star Wars". Some of the old UO and EQ devs work on this game.

Meridian '59 "Near Dead Studios" recently bought Meridian '59 and plans to update and resume this once very popular online RPG.

Dragon Empires A new Online RPG, planned for 2002. Unlike most current new MMORPGs Dragon Empires is skill-based and not level-based.

The Legend Of Mir Another new MMORPG. The beta has started and you can download the game and try it out for free.

The 4th Coming An Online game that has started and claims to be a mix between UO and Diablo.

World of Warcraft An online RPG set in the world of the Warcraft games.

Darkfall An Online RPG in development. Besides all "normal" features MMORPGs have, the game is aimed at PvP Combat and Racial wars.

Adellion Another MMORPG in development. Beta is supposed to start in the summer of this year (2002).

Everquest II The official site for Everquest II. Planned launch: 4th quarter of 2003.

RPGVault The Vault Network's RPG site. Great source of info for Online RPGs. News updates daily. Has many links too.

Stratics Network Great site with lots of info about many Online RPGs.

Casters Realm Very detailed info about items, spells, classes etc for Everquest and other Online RPGs.
