Me

These are some examples of what I enjoy doing with Ray Tracing. Any of the images can be viewed in a larger format by clicking on the image. I think the Focal blur adds quite well to the overall effect. Once these images are rendered large and subsequently printed with a photo quality printer on glossy paper I find the result is worth the effort of the hours of scripting. The Anti alias Depth also adds to the overall quality but adding blur and Anti alias Depth certainly slows down the whole process (be prepared to leave the thing on overnight if you are really serious). All of the software used was freeware so many thanks to the authors of PovRay, Spatch and Moray

Radio valve on some floor tiles --These radio valves were first created using SPATCH and then importing the objects into MORAY for scene arrangement, after which POVRAY took over for the rendering.
Check out the old lamp. Started as Spatch then imported to Moray and finaly rendered in Pov Ray --These radio valves were first created using SPATCH and then importing the objects into MORAY for scene arrangement, after which POVRAY took over for the rendering.
Valve moving --Just in case you thought the above valve was real
Train --Can't claim this entirely as mine because the train appeared on the Moray site so I just modified and animated it in PovRay
Dish --This was pure coding and then animation within povray
