Bowmore Legend
Bowmore, Islay's first Distillery and one of the
oldest in Scotland, has stood on the shores of Loch Indaal on the
Scottish island of Islay since 1779.
From mystical tales of sea dragons to phantom horsemen,
Islay is a place rich in legend and shrouded in myth. To honour our
Island home, we created Bowmore Legend.
Legend has been specially crafted from a selection of
the finest oak casks resulting in a Single Malt with a unique style and
character.
On the nose, detect the distinctive Bowmore smoky peat,
together with a hint of fresh sea air. The palate reveals zesty, fresh
lemon with a hint of honey sweetness. The finish is full and warm with a
touch of Islay peat smoke.
