Our kennel history began in 1979 as we saw in Saint Lucia, a beautiful Caribbean Island, a short legged Jack Russell Terrier. It was a three colour little lady, with crooked legs. She was muscular, had a lot of energy and was cheerful. In the Netherlands at that time the breed was hardly known.

Many years passed before the first Jack joined our family. It was Ayla who filled in a wish from years. She had the same radiation as the Jack Russell we fell in love with. She started the interest for breeding and everything that is caught up in it.

And now, more than 20 years later we have 4 dogs living with us in the house. We still love them as much as we did from the first day we met the Jack Russell in Saint Lucia.

The kennel's name is constructed out of the names of the founders of the kennel. 'BA' from the name Bart and 'CI' from the name Cintha. 'Baci' in Italian means: kisses. (We found out later....) And as you pronounce it as "baassie" it means slang for "from the boss"
