Fossombrone, 1466-1539, papiermaker, drukker en uitgever. Hij was de eerste
muziekuitgever, Venetië 1501. Het vignet
op deze site is getekend naar het watermerk in zijn papier. Een facsimile van Harmonice
Musices Odhecaton Canti A uit 1501, de uitgave die voor deze website het belangrijkst is,

Op de pagina Curriculum en contact heb ik
een blokfluitkwartet "IJmuiden 1953" geplaatst, door mij gecomponeerd op basis
van straatroepen en andere geluiden uit IJmuiden waar ik in de jaren 50 een paar jaar heb
gewoond.
De belangrijkste handschriften met Gregoriaanse
neumen uit de Stiftsbibliotek van Sankt-Gallen (CH) in facsimile op de site van het
project Codices Electronici Sangallenses. Ook het cruciale handschrift uit Montpellier
staat in facsimile op internet, eveals handschriften uit Laon (F). De links met uitleg
staan op de pagina Inleiding
Gregoriaans. U vindt daar ook een link naar het complete Liber usualis, zowel in
kwadraat- als in moderne notatie.
De pagina Inleiding is aangevuld
met afbeeldingen van het oudste clavecimbel op een altaarstuk uit Minden
(D) van 1425, een uiteenzetting over het handschrift van Henricus Arnault de Zwolle, ca
1440. met afbeelding, en een afbeelding van een clavecytherium op een schilderij van Geertgen
tot Sint-Jans, ca 1480/90, uit het Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen te Rotterdam.
Op 16 januari 2009 is op de pagina Post Petrucci toegevoegd mijn
Gregoriaanse compositie voor één stem Quod chorus vatum, een hymne op tekst van
Hrabanus Maurus (ca 800) voor de vesper van Maria Lichtmis.
Op 10 maart en 11 oktober 2009 geplaatst op de
pagina Gregoriaans in modern
notenschrift verbeterde en aangevulde versies van Aufer a me, Si
iniquitates en Qui confidunt, w.o.
blokfluitpartijen.
Op 25 december 2009 Renaissance bladmuziek
toegevoegd drie geheel vernieuwde versies van Antoine Busnois, In
mijnen sin, één volgens de Codex Florence BN 2439 (Basevi) en Petrucci Canti C, een
tweede, gereconstrueerde versie met partijen voor zangstemmen of instrumenten en een
klaviertranscriptie. De versies alla quinta bassa heb ik verwijderd.
Op 6 januari 2010 toegevoegd op de pagina Renaissance bladmuziek Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck,
Dolci labri amorosi, driestemmig madrigaal, partituur, tekst en vertaling en
losse partijen voor blokfluiten, met versie alla quinta bassa, partituur, tekst, vertaling
en losse partijen voor blokfluiten, en klaviertranscriptie alla quinta bassa.
Op 14 april 2010 op de pagina Bicinia van Obrecht tot Mozart
toegevoegd Jan Pieterszoon
Sweelinck, Morir non puo'l mio core, tweestemmig madrigaal, partituur, tekst,
vertaling en losse partijen voor blokfluiten, met versie alla quarta bassa, partituur,

Tussen 26 april en 10 mei 2010 heb ik
de bestaande partituren van Sweelinck voorzien van afzonderlijke partijen,
genoteerd op de hoogten voor blokfluiten. Deze staan op de pagina Bicinia van Obrecht tot Mozart,
en Renaissance bladmuziek,
zowel bij de versies come stà als bij de versie alla quinta bassa.
Op 12 mei 2010 op de pagina Post Petrucci geplaatst drie
3-stemmige Fantazias van Henry Purcell, in versies
voor drie blokfluiten en voor clavecimbel of ander klavierinstrument. De arrangementen
zijn gemaakt door Jan Kok.
Op 16 mei 2010 toegevoegd op de pagina Renaissance bladmuziek Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck,
Qval viue Salamandra, driestemmig madrigaal, partituur, tekst en vertaling en
losse partijen voor zangstemmen, blokfluiten of andere melodieinstrumenten, en
klaviertranscriptie; tekst van Giusto de' Conti (ca 1390-1447).

sopraan- en basstem of sopraan- of alt- en basblokfluit, met arrangementen voor
sopraan en alt (-blokfluit) en tenor en bas (-blokfluit), met een tekst n.a.v. de moord op
de Franse koning Hendrik IV in 1610, en Pavane Philippi met den Bas, met een
treurige tekst naar aanleiding van tegenslag in de 80-jarige oorlog.

klavierinstrument of harp; en: 12-de concert, voor twee gamba's

di Fossombrone, 1466-1539, paper maker, printer and publisher. He was the first music
publisher, Venice 1501. The image on this
site has been drawn after the watermark in his paper. You will find a facsimile of his
Harmonice Musices Odhecaton Canti A from 1501 here;
this edition is the most important one for this website.

I included a recorder quartet "IJmuiden
1953" on the page Curriculum
and contact. This composition has been based upon street cries and other street sounds
from the fifties in IJmuiden where I used to live for several years.
Facsimiles of the most important manuscripts with
Gregorian neumes from the Monastery Library of Sankt-Gallen (CH) may be consulted on the
site of the project Codices Electronici Sangallenses. The key manuscript from Montpellier
is also on internet in facimile, as are manuscripts from Laon (F). You will find links
with some explanation on the page Introduction to Gregorian
chant. You will find links to the complete Liber usualis there too, both in
square notes and in modern notation.

supplemented with images of the oldest harpsichord of an altar piece from
