In 2011 it is 100 years ago that the FCI , "Le Federation of Cynologique International", was raised. The Dutch "Raad van Beheer" were given the honour to organize this special edition.

It's a great pleasure to invite you to join the FCI Centenary Circuit in the NETHERLANDS.
The weekend after the IDC show we have 4 shows

The Dutch Kennel Club hosts the FCI Centenary European Dog Show 2011. In the same week-end there is an International all breed show and the Dutch Dobermann Club holds its Special Dobermann Championship Show.
A perfect excuse for planning a visit to the Netherlands. This special combination of shows offers the unique opportunity gaining the Dutch Championship title within in one week or 3 days!

Dutch Champion in one week
It's possible to gain the required four CACs (4xCAC) for the Dutch championship:
27th of August 2011 the International Dog show Rotterdam (1 CAC)
1 September 2011 near Leeuwarden the KCM (double CAC)
2 September 2011 the National Show in Leeuwarden (1 CAC)
and 3 September 2011 the grand finale in Leeuwarden; the FCI Centenary European Dog Show (double CAC)
. A unique possibility to become Dutch champion in one week or even in 3 days!

the final podium of honour

The IDC-2010 show, the unofficial dobermann show worldchampionship, this year took place in Slowakia. Some 25 kilometres north of Bratislava it was the place the international dobermann society gathered around on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of september to show themselves and their dogs on this famous and colourful event. Yes, This event is the meeting point of the dobermann society. Here you have to be seen, her you can make contacts and nourish them. So for some people it is hard work and for others its a small vacation. The competition was as expected very strong. There were around 600 dobermann competitors. But next to winning, it is important to show your dog to the very experienced collegues. The results ares as follows:

Kringgroep `Utrecht` organized on the 10th of april a Zucht Tauchlichkeits Prüfung (ZTP), examined by N. Daube.

Kringgroep `Utrecht` was choosen by the Dutch Dobermann Club - DVIN to organize this years`Johan van Vorselen trophee`. This yearly working competition was as everytime, a competition to visit. Good sporty atmosphere.

The dobermann exhibitors were not stopped by the long road to go to Goes to show their favorites. There were enough participants to get an exhibition with much exitement. The judge was constant in her priorities. She was looking for the beautiful type with a harmonic and strong construction with a stable and nice walk and so were here winnars:

17 dogs were presented on this show. I expected more competitors for a race specialist as Mrs. Assenmacher is. Yet, some persons from other countries were there. It was not an easy judging I think, because there were all different types in the selection. The results were as follows:

BEST FEMALE:   Quenteé v. Assindia from Germany.
Reserve BEST MALE:   Russkaja Mechta Elbin Elisey (bred by me)
Reserve BEST FEMALE:   Gini van ’t Duinezicht from Belgium.

Winners of a "DVIN Yearprice 2009" were honoured at the DVIN (Dobermann Club in the Netherlands) members assemblee on the 28th of March. The prices were offically handed out to the owners of the winning`dogs.
Per category a price is given for the dog that got most points during the last year on the in the Netherlands organized shows. Marja Janssen made some impressive collages

This international show was judged by P.Roseboom from Belgium. The rather small amount of competitors made the result quite predictive. The best female Hiba van’t Genebos from Belgium is a strong bich with good bones and well developed substance with exellent body conformation

The Russian Championship of Sleddog Sports, december 2009. At first you will think about breeds like the Malamute and the Husky who are more suitable for this kind of sport, but in this Russian Championship two Dobermanns were high on the podium. Dmitriy Petrov with the Dobermanss Sant Kreal Dzjewel and S'Lihobor Leweit was again winner in the category "harness, 2 dogs" on short distance. This high score for dobermanns is not incidental in this sport. The dobermanns good constuction and drive make this breed well fitted for this kind of sport.

At 28 november 2009 it was Dobermannday at the Amsterdam Winner 2009. Best of Breed at this prestegious exhibition and with this the title "Winster 2009" (CAC/CACIB) was the very beautiful breed representative RAMONBURG'S DELILA. A female with a lot of charisma, very compact body with great substance and typical outline, long parralel head with correct stop and a lovely expression (The Winster). The Vice-Winster (res.CAC, Res.CACIB) was the brown Ciara Elite House with a compact body, rich substance and nice head type
Best male , Winner 2009 and CAC was for the best of the Veteran class. It was the nearly ten years old representative of the old beautiful breed type: VICTOR VINCENT VAN HET WANTIJ. A dog with a classical long wedge shaped narrow head and strong body.
Second best male, Vice-Winner (CACIB, Res.CAC), was the good looking Onassis v. Trokadero. Too bad, this dog did not show the movement you would expect of such an excellent built dog. More power in his movement and his destiny is a higher place.

You own yourself a pup and he or she is growing steadily and you enjoy all of this. Then there is a moment at which You notice something about the position of the ears (yes they do cetrainly grow). The ears seem to lead a life of their own. Some pups have one ear standing up while the other ear is hanging, some pups look like wearing a nun-cap and again other puts have ears that are standing completely upwards. Wrong! So we are going to do something about this.......

Two nice movies 

Zit "De Individuele" in Veenendaal was again an explosion of sportivity. In this individual working championship of the DVIN (The Dutch Dobermann Society) the individual teams of leader and dog are competing to become dutch champion. .... lees meer
